Utilization of Recycled PET (rPET)
Incorporating recycled PET materials into shrink film production reduces the reliance on virgin plastic and promotes the circular economy by giving post-consumer PET bottles and textiles a second life. We have launched our RSF grade Shrink Films which incorporates the use PET waste obtained from Post-Consumer Recyclate (PCR); back into the production of PET Shrink Films.
Crystallizer Friendly Recyclable PET Shrink Film
We have come up with a Recyclable PET Crystallizer Friendly Shrink Film grade a.k.a CSP grade in order to facilitate the existing PET bottle/container recycling eco-system.The novel CSP shrink film grades are unique, which when printed on with washable inks; that can be removed on the PET bottle recycling line during washing, is able to be recycled with the PET bottle and pass easily through the crystallizer without clumping/agglomerating and that too without compromising or making any changes to the recycling process and quality. Hence making the PET bottle and CSP grade film label as one recyclable structure.
Renewable Energy Sources
Transitioning to renewable energy sources such as solar or wind power for manufacturing facilities further reduces the environmental footprint of pet shrink film production. At AFPL, we too have made this sustainable switch, which shall further reduce the eco-logical footprint of our already environmental friendly PET Shrink Film grades.
